BitMeter II is a feature rich bandwidth meter that beside the usual scrolling graph that shows your upload and download speed over time, you can use the Statistics window to see what’s been happening over the last few hours, days or weeks. This data can also be exported to a spreadsheet for detailed analysis, and there is even a a web interface that allows you to monitor your speed remotely over the internet via an ordinary web browser.
BitMeter can notify you when you have uploaded/downloaded a certain amount, or if your speed goes above or below any limit that you specify. You may also restrict how much you can download each month (to keep within possible ISP restrictions), or calculate how long a download will take, or how much you can transfer in a given time. Although it uses a tad more of your PCs resources to deliver its features, compared to other bandwidth monitors /meters , it seems to be the one most actively developed among the genre.

NetMeter is a small, customizable network bandwidth monitoring program very light on system resources. Tested extensively on Windows 2000 and XP, it still should work just as well on all other Win32 operating systems.
